Shear angles are sheet metal connectors used to transfer shear forces in timber-to-timber and timber-to-concrete connections.
The following verifications are performed:
By selecting different fasteners for the timber and concrete members, the connectors can be utilised efficiently. This optimisation reduces the number of shear angles required, installation time and costs.
